Manitowoc Area Visitor & Convention Bureau Stock Photography Project • Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer

As the weather turns cold let me try and warm things up by showing you a project I worked on this summer for the Manitowoc Area Visitor & Convention Bureau.  The goal of the project was to start building a library of images showing off the communities of Two Rivers and Manitowoc, Wisconsin.  This summer for the most part we concentrated on lifestyle photos of people interacting with Lake Michigan.  I also shot two events, Kites Over Lake Michigan at Neshota Beach in Two River and Subfest in Manitowoc.

Two Rivers and Manitowoc are two great cities and finding places to shoot interesting photos was easy.  We lucked out on the weather for the most part.  Our sunrise trek to shoot two stand up paddle boarders at the Manitowoc Lighthouse was amazing.  Great colors, flat calm water and even fishing boats on the horizon in just the right places.  Sure, we could have used a little more wind for our evening sailing shoot, but the flat calm water again worked in our favor.

Next year our goal is to start moving inland, but I’m sure we will still find our way towards the shores of Lake Michigan for shot or two.
